Master / Miao Ben 妙本法師

       1992年禮佛光山星雲大師出家，畢業於佛光山叢林學院、中國文化大學大傳系。自1996年起投入佛教文化事業，1999年隨「佛光山梵唄讚頌團」前往歐洲巡演，曾任職於佛光山《人間福報》編輯部與廣告部，企劃主辦三屆「台北國際素食有機產品博覽會」。規劃ACC非洲院童來台並前往大馬、香港、上海世博等地巡演及刊物之編輯。


為精進自我，先後前往北京、內蒙古、寧波、五臺山、韓國、澳洲布里斯本等地參學。

有感於宗教的弘傳需與時俱進，認同達摩樂隊的理念與發心，以另類音樂展演來呈現宗教信仰中的普世價值。將信仰年輕化、人間化，以嶄新的方式推廣佛學乃至於各種良善的信仰文化，讓正念的傳遞更加無遠弗屆


Became a monk under Master Hsing Yun, studying at Fo Guang Shan Monastery in 1992

• Went on to study at Fo Guang University and Chinese Culture University
• Went to Europe with the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastic Choir in 1999
• Worked in the editorial department and advertising department of Fo Guang Shan University’s The Merit Times
• Also served as an editor for many other publications
• Traveled to Beijing, Inner Mongolia, Ningbo, Wutai Mountain, South Korea, Brisbane, Australia and others to further her studies
• Agrees with the philosophy and intention of Dharma, to present the universal value of religious beliefs with alternative music performances, and to bring about the rejuvenation and humanization of beliefs, the promotion of Buddhism, and represent a variety of belief structures in a new way, to further the transmission of righteous thought
